He is Professor of Computer Science at Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna. He leads the Advanced Algorithms and Applications Laboratory (Acube Lab, http://acube.di.unipi.it), at the Department of Computer Science, whose main research activities are devoted to the design, analysis and experimentation of algorithms and data structures for storing, compressing, mining and retrieving information from Big textual collections and labeled graphs.
Giulio Ferrigno is a Senior Assistant Professor at Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies of Pisa. He has held visiting positions at the University of Cambridge, Tilburg University, and the University of Umea. His main research themes include strategic alliances, big data, and Industry 4.0. Nicola Del Sarto is a post-doctoral research fellow at Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna in Pisa. He received a Ph.D in Management from Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna in 2019. Nicola's research interests focus on start-ups and support mechanisms such as incubators, accelerators and corporate accelerator programs. Moreover, he is investigating the processes of business creation under the Open Innovation paradigm. Nicola holds a Master degree in economics from University of Pisa and a post graduate master in Management, innovation and engineering of services from Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna.
Valentina Cucino is a Postdoctoral Scholar at Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, Pisa. She received her PhD in Management Innovation, Sustainability and Healthcare from Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna in 2019. Her research interest deals with technology transfer, new business venturing and human resource management.
Motivated and highly passionate about Management of Innovation and Data Science, since 2016 I am a PhD student in Innovation Management at Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies. I graduated cum laude in Economics and Sciences of Public Government MSc. from University of Calabria, and gained by MBA in Business Administration and Services Innovation from Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies in 2015.
Giovanni Comandè (LLM Harvard Law School USA, Ph.D. Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna) is Full Professor of Private comparative law at Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna where he also studied as ordinary student.
Elena Casprini is Postdoc Research Fellow in Management at Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna. She has been a Visiting Ph.D. at Cass Business School (London, UK) and she collaborates with the Department of Business and Law at University of Siena. She has been involved in teaching activities about innovation management at both B.Sc. and M.Sc. levels. Her main research interests include business model innovation, open innovation and family firms.
I am an Associate Professor of Management at the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna in Pisa. I am also Research Fellow with the Berkeley Roundtable on the International Economy (BRIE), University of California – Berkeley and Social Innovation Fellow with the Meridian International Center of Washington, DC. I am currently the Italian Representative on the SMEs & Access to Finance Programme Committee, for Horizon 2020, with the European Commission.
Andrea Piccaluga is the Director of the Institute of Management at Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna (www.sssup.it), where he is Professor of Innovation Management. He is also President of Netval (www.netval.it), the Italian network of University Technology Transfer Offices.
